Sari is a licensed psychotherapist with a specialty in helping patients with depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders. She enjoys the curative impact of psychotherapy and developing and strengthening inner self awareness, understanding, and self-acceptance.
Sari recognizes that life is full of challenges and transitions. Her goal, as a therapist, is to ease those difficulties by partnering with her clients to build on their strengths and deepen their perspectives. She provides clear guidance and explanations, compassionate confrontation, warmth, and a safe space for exploration, discovery, and healing. She works with her clients to explore what their ideal life looks like, the changes they want, and then create a plan to help them get there.
She also helps her clients learn coping skills that resolve depressive thoughts, anxiety, fears, negative thinking, and panic attacks, through goal-oriented talk therapy, positive psychology, and mindfulness approaches.
She believes the therapeutic alliance is a partnership to help clients achieve their goals. There is not ‘a one size fits all’ solution, but rather a combination of therapeutic approaches that is tailored to each individual client.
