Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. Our therapists are trained in a variety of therapeutic techniques and methods. From screening and diagnosis to treatment, we’re here to help you determine a plan to get to your optimal well-being.
We also offer Ketamine Integration Group Therapy for patients who have completed their foundational ketamine treatment with IV or Spravato. This format allows individuals to reflect on the lessons, challenges, and wisdom they’ve gained from the interventional medicine experiences so that they can be applied to daily life. Group members explore topics such as music’s role in the psychedelic journey, control vs surrender and techniques for ‘letting go’, the concept of an ‘inner healer’ and how to more easily let it emerge, self compassion and forgiveness, what constitutes one’s identity and sense of self, and how spirituality or hope can impact the growth process, all while making connections with other group members.
What the Research Says
Decades of research supports the effectiveness of medication and talk therapy, with several studies showing that a combination of antidepressants and therapy is more effective than either treatment alone — specifically for depression, anxiety, and OCD.
Alone or alongside medication, teletherapy creates a safe and supportive space for you to process thoughts and emotions, and learn coping skills with a licensed professional. Thousands of studies emphasize the effectiveness of therapy for a variety of conditions across all populations.
All of our sessions are currently conducted virtually and aim to ensure a seamless experience. Even once back in our clinics, you can continue to attend all of your sessions virtually if that’s your preference.
Once our therapists and you find it safe, our clinics will be available to anyone who wishes to have in-person sessions. We have designed our clinic to promote belonging and provide the space to focus on you.
We know that life can get busy and flexibility is important. Once available, you’ll have the option of a blend of virtual and in-person care if that’s what works best for you.
There are many different styles of psychotherapy and we believe that every patient has unique needs that can be addressed from multiple treatment modalities.
The LHMC therapy team has diverse experience but all are compassionate professionals dedicated to their healing practice. We partner with patients with the goal of creating a safe space and a strong trusting therapeutic container to explore, grow and attain greater life fulfillment.
